IRVE-3 is one of many research efforts to develop new technologies to advance space travel and it's part of HIAD

The launch of IRVE-3, an inflatable heat shield technology demonstration flight, is set to today, July 23, between 6:45 and 7:45 a.m., EDT (between 10:45 and 11:45 GMT)
